Enrique Ruiz (Male) is the Technical Director of Hit Rail, responsible to deploy and manage European Railway IT solutions on Hit Rail’s cloud, some of them on behalf of UIC, like the eTCD (Electronic Ticket Control Database) and DRTF (Database for Rail Tickets and Fares). Enrique is also an expert in wide area TCP/IP networks, overseeing the Hermes VPN connecting the European railway sector.

Enrique is responsible for providing IT services supporting to more than sixty Railway companies in Europe. In previous positions Enrique has lead teams providing IT services to medium-size and large companies in Spain. Enrique is a certified cloud practitioner by Amazon AWS, has a Degree in Information Sciences, University of Pamplona, and ETCR (Diploma on EU Transport and Railway Affairs) College of Europe, Bruges 2015.
