- Modal Shift
- Decarbonisation
- EU Legislation
- Rail Capacity Directive
In 2022, the EU has started the revision of the European legislation for the capacity management. This would be a great opportunity for the sector to tackle several issues that is struggling with, for instance the timely and stable planning of temporary capacity restrictions, uncompetitive advance ticketing and need for more dynamic and harmonised capacity allocation especially for freight. Forum Train Europe will highlight the most important needs from the market side that railway undertakings and their costumers wish not be omitted in the revision process.
Presentation - How Hit Rail can contribute to the implementation of the ticketing roadmap
